Just a quick update on the happenings in Room 4-
Math-We are finishing up Chapter 4 and will take a practice test on Monday. I will grade these and send them home so you can help your child review if they are having any difficulties. We will take the test on Wednesday. I am also sending home a Math Strategies worksheet. Word problems are getting more difficult as we learn new terminology and mix addition and subtraction problems. This worksheet will give you strategies to help your child practice at home.
Writing-We are finishing our ABC Books. They turned out really cute! We have a classroom full of writers and illustrators!
Science-We just took our test over Seasons and are starting our Plants Unit this week. We will learn about the parts of a plant and what plants need.
Keep practicing those sight words! We will take a test over List 1A again this week for those who have not mastered it yet.

There was a flyer sent home about a Sports Camp on Saturday. My daughter and her friends are running this as a fundraiser to go to Guatemala over Spring Break. I will be one of the workers. They are also planning a "Girls Night Out" in November. I would love to see some of my sweet students there!
