I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather! My fingers are crossed that we are lucky enough to have this kind of weather next week for Spring Break!
Just a quick update on the week-
Spelling-We all have the same list this week. I chose words that we use often in writing and often spell wrong. The list went home in your child's binder today. We will have a test over these words on Friday. Here is the list: because, teacher, our, was, said, put, first, school, family, would, friend, weekend, also, want, very, really.
Math-We will be working on Ch. 18-Addition Facts and Strategies. Children will find sums easily by using make a ten and doubles strategies.
Writing-We have been working very hard on autobiographies. Look for these to come home soon.
Don't forget that Friday is a half day. Students will be dismissed at 11:40. No lunch will be served this day!
