We have two exciting field trips planned for February.
The first one is to the St. Louis Zoo on Feb. 3rd. We are studying animals in science right now so this will a perfect wrap up to our unit. We will be eating lunch in the classroom on this day so please send a sack lunch with a drink or students may purchase a sack lunch from the cafeteria the morning of the field trip. Also, if you would like to chaperone please let me know right away. We are only allowed to have 4 chaperones attend this field trip.
The second field trip is to Powell Hall as part of the music curriculum on Feb. 8th. We will be back in time for lunch this day. Chaperones are not needed on this field trip.
Information and permission slips are coming home tomorrow. Let me know if you have any questions. You can send cash or checks. Please make checks payable to Long Elementary.
